But with the arrival of the Trader Hub update, the game is entering an entirely new era—one that massively expands player-to-player interactions, opens new economic pathways, and introduces a fresh progression system around streaks, Grow a Garden Items, tokens, and collectible pets.
This update doesn’t just add new items. It adds an entire trading ecosystem, complete with a dedicated hub, high-value currency, and progression-reward loops that transform how players think about gardens, rare fruits, and long-term goals.

The Trader Hub: A New Core Feature for Grow a Garden
At the center of the update sits the much-anticipated Trader Hub—a new location accessible through a glowing portal in your garden world. For many players, the portal appeared immediately; for others, it required progressing past the tutorial or holding enough in-game currency. If you don't see the portal yet, you’ll need around 100 million to 1 billion shekels in your account and must be fully out of the early-game tutorial.
Once inside, you’ll immediately notice something striking: this world is alive. Even before launch, players were able to enter it publicly, so the place is packed with booths, stalls, and gardeners trading every imaginable item. This hub fundamentally changes Grow a Garden by providing:
Public stalls for item listings
Token-based trading
Cosmetic stall skins
Player-driven pricing
Rare items being circulated for the first time
It’s essentially a real-time marketplace—something the community has been asking for since the game’s earliest updates.
Stalls: Your New Trading Base
Inside the Trader Hub, players can claim one of the new 10 stalls—interactive booths where you list items for sale. Stalls are obtained through containers that cost either Robux or the newly introduced tokens.
Once you claim an unoccupied booth:
Press E to interact.
Choose your stall skin (cosmetic).
Click List Item.
Select an item from your inventory.
Set your price in tokens.

Tokens: The New Currency That Changes Everything
Tokens are the backbone of the Trader Hub update. They’re valuable, rare, highly sought-after, and—most importantly—they can be used to purchase almost everything that used to be Robux-exclusive.
What are Tokens Worth?
Tokens have a very simple valuation system:
1 token = 1 Robux in value
When a player buys your item for 10 tokens, you receive 9 (because of a 1-token marketplace fee). This Robux-equivalent pricing immediately stabilizes the economy and makes item values predictable.
How to Get Tokens
There are two primary methods:
1. Trade Items for Tokens
This is the main free-to-play method. By listing rare seeds, mutated fruits, or valuable items on your stall, players can buy them using tokens.
2. Buy Tokens With Robux
Direct token purchases exist, though the display prices may appear inconsistent due to early-release bugs. Still, the conversion remains 1 Robux → 1 token.
You Can Now Buy Everything With Tokens
This is arguably the most revolutionary part of the update.
For the first time ever, free-to-play players can buy:
Robux chests
Premium seeds
Pets
Garden expansions
Cosmetics
Shop items
Tokens mirror Robux in all in-game stores. For example:
A Robux-only seed can now be purchased with tokens

With these expansions come new seeds, new pets, and the ultra-rare booth sign.
New Seeds Added in the Update
Only three seeds were added, but they are tied directly to the new streak levels and serve as stepping stones into advanced gameplay.
1. Coin Fruit (Streak 17)
A simple, early high-streak plant with moderate value.
Average sell value: 20,000 shekels
Easy to harvest
Functions as the base for new Coin Mutation
Visuals are simple but fitting for its streak tier
While not powerful, Coin Fruit is extremely important because two of the new pets interact with it.
2. Cherry Bloom (Streak 25)
Aesthetic and colorful, Cherry Bloom is a one-harvest plant with a great look but modest earnings.
Average sell value: 60,000–76,000 shekels
Single-harvest only
Easy to unlock and grow
More useful as a decorative or tradable fruit
3. Pinkside Dandelion (Streak 35)
The star of the seed update. This vibrant sunflower-like plant provides genuinely strong income.
Average sell value: 159,000–200,000 shekels
Good for mid-game grinding
Possibly based on the original sunflower model
Very efficient for streak-level economics
This is the only new seed that meaningfully increases shekel income.
New Pets and Their Abilities
Pets are a highlight of the update, each offering a unique gameplay mechanic and new ways to interact with your garden economy.
1. Shekeling (Streak 17)
The Shekeling may be small, but its unique sacrifice mechanic makes it fascinating.
Abilities
Generates 1.25 shekels per second passively
Every 5 minutes, it sacrifices itself at a Coin Fruit
Mutation applied: Coin Mutation (x3 multiplier)
Pet is consumed and disappears
Mutation cannot be mimicked

It’s niche, but introduces a new mutation, giving collectors and high-level players something meaningful to farm and trade.
2. Messenger Pigeon (Streak 25)
A mobility-based pet focused on transporting mutations.
Abilities
Every 4 minutes, takes a mutation from one fruit
Delivers that mutation to a random player’s fruit
Ignores fruit types and favorites

The pigeon likely transfers (not duplicates) mutations. This makes it a tool for:
Sending mutations to alt accounts
Trading mutation effects indirectly
Moving high-tier mutations from expendable plants to valuable ones
It’s situational, but clever players will find uses.
3. Camel (Streak 35)
A surprisingly powerful pet, especially given how easy it is to unlock.
Abilities
Every 10 minutes, gathers 5.6 prickly-type plants
Forms a caravan with other camels
Delivers packages (one per fruit collected)
Packages contain random rewards
Rewards include:
Rare fruits
High-tier variants
Gears and materials (likely)
Better camel groups = better loot
This pet will likely become a long-term farm tool for progression-focused players.
The Booth Sign (Streak 50)
The final streak reward unlocks the Booth Sign, one of the most useful trading tools ever added.
Unlock chance: 5% at streak 50
Alternatively purchased in Trader Hub
Lets you display your sale items above your head
Allows active advertising instead of waiting at your booth
Players can now roam the marketplace showcasing:

Triggered by the Shekeling, the Coin Mutation is a new addition:
